Doing this activity has helped me evaluate which generic conventions I will be including in my magazine in relation to what is normally on a contents page. I have considered my findings from my magazine deconstructions also to decide that I will include the following: a masthead,images, text, web address, issue number, contact details, publishers logo, page numbers, topical and sarcastic humor, regional dialect, advertisements and acknowledgements. I also feel smaller influences deserve a lot more recognition than the editor as it is a community magazine therefore I want everyone to be considered as equals.
